A short stroll away is Old Bar surf beach (which is a patrolled beach) as well as a swimming pool, park, children’s playground, & skate park, gas BBQs, undercover seating. There’s also tennis & squash courts for hire.
Club Old Bar – NSW Award winning Bowling Club is five minutes walk from the shopping village and includes TAB and ATM facilities plus Bistro and a Coffee shop for a light snack. The Club also caters for conferences and weddings. Enjoy great meal deals midweek at the Bistro as well as a $10 roast dinner on Sundays.
Old Bar Markets are on the 4th Sunday of month. Blackhead Bazaar on the 1st Sunday of the month from September to April.
